Encounter Turn Structure

On your Turn, you have access to the following resources:

  • 3 Actions: Spent to perform activities. An activity can require a Action, Double Action, or Triple Action.
  • Movement: Spent to travel up to your Walking Speed.
  • 1 Reaction: Used once per Round in response to a specific trigger, even outside your turn. You regain your Reaction at the start of your next Turn.
  • Free Actions: Minor activities that cost no actions or resources.

Encounter Action Types

Actions are categorized by their function during combat:

  • Offensive Action: Attacking, controlling, or harming enemies (e.g., striking, tripping).
  • Defensive Action: Avoiding, mitigating, or protecting against incoming harm.
  • Magical Action: Casting spells, channelling supernatural abilities, or activating magic items.
  • Movement Action: Tactical positioning and physical manoeuvres (e.g., jumping, dashing, hiding).
  • Utility Action: Miscellaneous tasks (e.g., administering first aid, drinking a potion).
