Spell Reference. When you cast a Spell of 1st level or higher that deals damage, you can replace its Damage Type with a Damage Type dealt by another Spell in your Spellbook. The referenced Spell must be the same level as the Spell you cast.
Floating Grimoire. As an Action, you can command your Spellbook to float beside you. While floating, it follows you, remains within 1 metre of you, and opens to any page you request. The effect ends when you dismiss it, become unconscious, or the Spellbook is moved more than 1 metre from you. While floating within 1 metre of you, the Spellbook can serve as the Spellcasting Focus for your arcane Spells, leaving your hands free.
Spell sheet Protection. When you take damage while your Spellbook is floating within 1 metre of you, you can use your Reaction to prevent all of the triggering damage. To do so, roll 1d6 and permanently erase Spells from your Spellbook whose combined levels equal or exceed the result. If you cannot, you cannot use this benefit.
