Effect:: For the duration, you sense the presence of mana and magical effects within 6 meters of yourself. You can spend Action to see a faint aura around any Visible Creature or Object in the area that contains mana or is affected by magic. If the effect was created by a Spell, you learn its Strand of Magic (Creation, Preservation, Transformation, or Destruction). Additionally, you perceive the approximate amount of mana each Creature currently possesses.
The spell is blocked by 30 centimetres of stone, dirt, or wood; 2 centimetres of metal; or a thin sheet of lead.
Upcasting:: For each additional mana spent, the range of detecting magic increases by 6 meters and you pierce higher level of conceal magic. You can upcast the spell with a maximum of 3 extra mana.
