Mastery turns a shield into a formidable asset on the battlefield.
You use shields not just for protection, but also for offense. While wielding a shield, you gain the following benefits:
Shield Strike. You can make an Off-Hand Attack with your Shield to either Shove a Creature or deal 1d4 + your Strength Bludgeoning Damage.
Deflection. If you aren’t Incapacitated, you use your Reaction to add your Shield’s Armour Class bonus to any Agility Saving Throw you make against a Spell or harmful effect.
