Your character’s Ancestry defines general physical traits and ancestral heritage. You must select one Common Ancestry from Human Ancestry, Dwarven Ancestry, Elven Ancestry, or Halfling Ancestry. This choice influences your character’s lifespan, appearance, Creature Size and Speed. Ancestry also unlocks Ancestral Talents.
You may optionally choose an additional ancestry to represent mixed heritage. This choice can be made from the Common Ancestries listed above or from the Rare Ancestries, which currently include Giant Ancestry, Celestial Ancestry, and Fiend Ancestry.
After selecting your Common Ancestry and any additional ancestry, you spend 5 Legend Points to Ancestry Talents based on the options your ancestry provides. Below, we detail the Common Ancestries and how they begin shaping your character.
